Bags, Jackets, briefcases and other leather items
We take all types of bags, jackets and other leather items to restore. Not all leather can be restored as new but try give the hide a new lease of life and durability that makes the item usable again. When dealing with antique items we leave them with patina look so they have a story to tell.
When acssesing leather item carries a risk because of the unknown. Suede, Nubuck are examples of two types of leather that are not possible to dye successfully. If we feel we cannot achieve a satisfactory outcome we may not take the item on or return with out charging.
Leather can be difficult to work with when trying to remove stains such as ink, oil and grease so often leather will require a full restoration and dyeing if these stains are present .
By nature Dyeing anything involves risk due to the vast range of finishes and colours etc. so we want to make it clear that all dyeing will be undertaken at the customers own risk. Between Loiuse, Paul and our colleague, Sean of Leather Buff in the UK we give each piece carefull thought to achieve the best possible result for you the customer.
From cleaning to a full colour restoration or repairs prices start from €40 for a bag upto €181.60 for colour restoration and conditioning. Depending on the item sometimes this can be more but do our best to keep the costs down.
